Third Freshippo Store in Hebei Province to Open in Baoding

Freshippo, the supermarket chain owned by Alibaba, is set to open its third store in Hebei province, this time in the city of Baoding. The news was confirmed after videos surfaced online showing advertisements for the new outlet on a large outdoor screen at Baoding Wanbo Plaza, with the tagline "First Store in Baoding."

An employee at Baoding Wanbo Plaza verified the information on April 3, stating that Freshippo will be located on the basement level of the shopping center. The store is currently under renovation and is expected to open in June or July of this year.

Freshippo first entered the Hebei market in March 2025, initially establishing a presence in Shijiazhuang and Tangshan. The upcoming Baiding location will mark the chain's third store in the province.
