A new JD MALL is set to begin its trial operation in Wuhan on Friday, March 13. This marks the third super experience store established by JD.com in Wuhan. The six-story shopping venue features over 30 themed experience zones, making it the largest store of its kind in Central China. The complex aims to create an all-scenario comprehensive consumer destination integrating technology, trends, and affordability, contributing to Hanyang District’s efforts to build a vibrant and prosperous commercial area and injecting new vitality into Wuhan’s consumption upgrade.
Located at No. 36 Longyang Avenue in Hanyang District, the JD MALL (Wuhan Wangjiawan Store) spans nearly 50,000 square meters. It brings together a wide range of JD self-operated categories, including trendy home appliances, mobile phones, digital electronics, computers, esports entertainment, and home furnishings. The store offers products from more than 200 top global brands, with over 200,000 items available.
Unlike traditional home appliance and furniture stores, JD MALL (Wuhan Wangjiawan Store) adopts an experiential innovation model, featuring more than 30 immersive themed zones such as esports entertainment, baking kitchens, coffee, and beauty. Visitors can team up for gaming in professional esports areas, experience hand-brewed coffee and latte art, try DIY baking with popular small appliances, or experiment with professional makeup transformations. With guidance from staff, shopping becomes an exploratory journey.
The store maintains the same product quality, pricing, and services both online and offline, ensuring that in-store shoppers receive the same level of care as online customers. Electronic price tags synchronize in real time with online prices, allowing consumers to experience products in-store before scanning a code to place an online order. They can then choose to pick up their purchases at the store or have them delivered by JD.com, making the process convenient and efficient.
During the trial operation period from March 13 to March 15, the store will also offer multiple promotions.
Public transportation access to JD MALL (Wuhan Wangjiawan Store): - Metro: Take Line 4 to Wangjiawan Station, Exit C, and walk 317 meters. - Bus: Take bus route 596 to Longyang Avenue Wangjiawan Station, and walk 145 meters.
