UNI MEDICAL (02666) has announced its interim results for 2026, recording revenue of approximately RMB 7.1 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 6.3%. Profit attributable to holders of ordinary shares stood at roughly RMB 1.2625 billion, marking a 2.8% increase compared to the same period last year. Earnings per share reached RMB 0.63.

During the first half of 2026, the comprehensive healthcare segment consolidated 65 medical institutions under its reporting scope, including 5 tier-three general hospitals, 1 tier-three specialized hospital, and 30 tier-two hospitals. These facilities collectively operate 15,301 open beds, contributing approximately RMB 3.839 billion in reported revenue, down 9.1% year-on-year. The segment achieved a profit of RMB 176.5 million for the period, reflecting a 23.6% decline. This decrease is primarily attributable to two factors: the deepening reforms in the healthcare industry, which have introduced structural operational pressures due to changing external conditions, and the increased operational scale of medical institutions resulting from new infrastructure projects launched since 2024, leading to higher depreciation, amortization, and labor costs.

In the first half of 2026, the group accelerated the transformation of its financial business model while strengthening cost control measures. Combined revenue from these operations totaled approximately RMB 2.496 billion, a decrease of 12.5% year-on-year, while profit for the period reached RMB 1.095 billion, up 4.3%. The average yield on interest-earning assets was 6.86%, down 0.36 percentage points year-on-year; the average cost rate of interest-bearing liabilities was 3.01%, down 0.39 percentage points; the net interest spread improved to 3.85%, up 0.03 percentage points, and the net interest margin rose to 4.42%, an increase of 0.08 percentage points compared to the prior year.
