METASPACEX Receives Default Notice from Bondholder

METASPACEX (ASX: 01796) has announced that it received a default notice from one of its bondholders on July 16, 2026. The notice pertains to a bond issued by the company on April 24, 2025, with a principal amount of HK$5 million.

The notification states that the company failed to make the full interest payment on the bond when it was due. This constitutes a breach of the company's obligations and a default event under the relevant bond documents.

The bondholder has demanded the immediate repayment of the bond's principal amount, along with all accrued and unpaid interest. As of the announcement date, the outstanding and unpaid interest on the bond amounts to approximately HK$210,000.

The company has stated that it intends to engage in discussions with the bondholder regarding the aforementioned matters.
