The first 2026 stop of the "GEM ETF Series China Tour" event was recently held successfully in Hangzhou. Themed "Embarking from Hangzhou towards Innovation, Co-creating the Future," the event featured multiple activities including a visit to constituent company Hangzhou Changchuan Technology Co.,Ltd., a GEM ETF seminar, and a themed salon on systematic investment strategies.

The Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) serves as a barometer for observing China's new economy. Since its inception in 2009, it has functioned as a testing ground for pioneering initiatives in the capital markets, implementing a series of institutional innovations tailored for innovative and growth-oriented enterprises. After more than a decade of development, it has gathered nearly 1,400 listed companies, giving rise to a number of leading firms in sectors such as new-generation information technology, new energy, new materials, and high-end equipment. These companies demonstrate strong profitability and sustained growth potential, with the total market capitalization exceeding 18 trillion yuan and high-tech enterprises accounting for approximately 90%.

In recent years, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange has been committed to building a one-stop asset allocation and wealth management platform for the industry. Through the joint efforts of various parties, the reform and development of the Shenzhen ETF market have progressed steadily, and the construction of the GEM investment ecosystem has become increasingly sophisticated. Currently, there are nearly 140 fund products related to the Shenzhen "Chuang Series" indices, with a total size of approximately 250 billion yuan, making it one of the indices with the largest number of tracking products and the largest scale domestically. It has become the preferred choice for medium- to long-term capital allocation in innovative growth enterprises.

The "GEM ETF Series China Tour" will continue to be held in major cities across the country. Concurrently, in partnership with media outlets, Shenzhen Funds will launch an online column for the tour. This column will focus on the characteristics of specific "Chuang Series" index products and allocation strategies of interest to investors. Using engaging formats such as short videos, podcasts, and vlogs, it aims to help investors understand the 'why,' comprehend 'what to invest in,' and learn 'how to invest,' thereby building a bridge connecting value-seeking investors with the GEM companies that represent China's innovative strength.
