Manulife (00945) Hong Kong and Macau has announced a strategic leadership change, appointing Wilton Kee as its Chief Executive Officer, subject to regulatory approval. Kee will assume the role on July 1, succeeding Patrick Graham.
Manulife stated that this appointment reflects the company's consistent focus on talent development, strategic continuity, and commitment to achieving long-term growth in its Hong Kong and Macau businesses. The planned succession further implements its strategy for corporate optimization.
Steve Finch, President and CEO of Manulife Asia, commented that Kee's appointment demonstrates the group's sustained and robust execution capabilities and diversified business model. It also underscores a long-term commitment to clients in Hong Kong and Macau, which are among Manulife's largest markets in Asia.
Finch noted that Kee brings deep and diverse professional experience along with forward-looking strategic vision, which will help drive the company's continued business growth. During his recent tenure as Deputy CEO and Chief Financial Officer for Hong Kong and Macau, Kee further solidified Manulife's market position, advanced corporate integration, enhanced operational governance, and strengthened the coordination of key strategic and operational initiatives. This appointment reflects full confidence in Kee's ability to continue leading the implementation of the company's long-term growth strategy as CEO.
Kee joined Manulife in 2013 and has held several senior management positions in Hong Kong and Macau, covering areas such as pricing, products, health, and finance. He previously served as Chief Product Officer and later also as Head of Health. In 2022, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer and assumed the additional role of Deputy CEO in March 2026, making significant contributions to driving the company's strategic development and consolidating its market leadership in both regions.
