Jiangxi Qiyunshan Food Co., Ltd. announced that, effective immediately, it will migrate all routine corporate communications to digital channels in accordance with Rule 2.07A of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules and the company’s Articles of Association.
Key points
1. Scope of documents • Materials affected include directors’ reports, annual and interim reports (and their summaries), notices of meetings, listing documents, circulars and proxy forms.
2. Distribution model • All future corporate communications—other than “Actionable Corporate Communications”—will be published exclusively on the company’s website (www.qiyunshan.cc) and the HKEX website (www.hkexnews.hk). • No separate printed or electronic notice will be issued on publication dates; shareholders are expected to check the websites proactively.
3. “Actionable” items via email only • Documents requiring shareholder instructions or elections (“Actionable Corporate Communications”) will be sent individually by email. • Printed versions of these actionable documents will cease unless shareholders submit a prior written request at least seven days in advance.
4. Shareholder action required • Registered holders are asked to submit a functional email address using the enclosed reply form to ensure receipt of future actionable communications. • In the absence of a valid email address, the company will default to sending printed actionable documents along with another request for an email address. • Shareholders may at any time request printed copies of any communication free of charge by notifying Union Registrars Limited in writing or via email. Each request remains valid until the end of the next financial year unless revoked earlier.
5. Compliance and inquiries • The new arrangements align Qiyunshan Food with HKEX’s environmental and governance guidelines encouraging paperless communication. • Shareholders with questions can contact the H-share registrar, Union Registrars Limited, at +852 2849 3399 during Hong Kong business hours.
The initiative, authorised by Chairman and Executive Director Mr. Liu Zhigao, reflects the company’s shift toward greater efficiency and sustainability in shareholder communications.
