Stock News11-02 10:32

Lithium battery concept stocks staged a recovery today, with CATL (03750) climbing 4.25% to HK$353.2, while CALB (03931) advanced 3.20% to HK$13.55.

Ganfeng Lithium (01772) rose 2.91% to HK$22.66, and Zenergy (03677) gained 2.38% to HK$3.44.

On the news front, according to statistics from the ICC Xinhong Energy Storage Database, global energy storage battery shipments reached 839.3GWh in the first three quarters of 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 96.3%. Among them, domestic manufacturers shipped 810.9GWh of energy storage batteries, up 94.5% year-on-year, while overseas manufacturers shipped 28.4GWh, up 164% year-on-year.

Xinhong Lithium Battery forecasts that full-year global energy storage battery shipments in 2026 could reach 1,150GWh.

Huaxi Securities believes that driven by the rapid growth in energy storage demand, China's lithium battery supply chain showed an atypical peak season trend in early 2026. After demand was pulled forward, a certain degree of rhythm adjustment has occurred, but full-year demand is still expected to maintain relatively fast growth.

In the medium to long term, supported by rising battery capacity per vehicle and energy storage demand, domestic power and energy storage battery demand is expected to maintain steady growth.
