Shenzhen International Holdings Limited (SHENZHEN INT'L) announced that, effective 30 July 2026, Dr. Cheng Chuange joins the board as an Independent Non-executive Director (INED), becomes chairman of the Nomination Committee, and takes a seat on the Audit Committee.
Dr. Cheng, 61, holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Wuhan University, is a senior economist, and brings more than three decades of banking, securities, and insurance management experience in both Mainland China and Hong Kong. His three-year service contract entitles him to an annual director’s fee of HK$0.35 million.
Concurrently, Mr. Pan Chaojin resigned as INED—together with his roles as chairman of the Nomination Committee and the Remuneration & Appraisal Committee, and as a member of the Audit Committee—after completing six years of service. The company confirmed that Mr. Pan has no disagreement with the board and no matters require shareholder attention.
Committee composition was adjusted as follows: • Audit Committee: Dr. Zeng Zhi (Chairman), Dr. Wang Guowen, Dr. Cheng Chuange. • Nomination Committee: Dr. Cheng Chuange (Chairman), Mr. Wang Peihang, Professor Ding Chunyan. • Remuneration & Appraisal Committee: Dr. Wang Guowen (Chairman), Mr. Cai Xiaoping, Professor Ding Chunyan.
Post-adjustment, SHENZHEN INT'L’s board comprises four executive directors, one non-executive director, and four independent non-executive directors.
