BAIC MOTOR (01958): Chen Geng Appointed as President

BAIC MOTOR (01958) announced personnel changes due to work adjustments. Mr. Hu Hanjun will step down as non-executive director and member of the Board Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee as well as the Audit Committee. Mr. Chen Hongliang will no longer serve as non-executive director and member of the Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee. Mr. Song Wei will resign as executive director, member of the Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee, Remuneration Committee, and Nomination Committee. Mr. Peng Jin will cease to be non-executive director and Strategy Committee member. These changes take effect upon approval of new director appointments. Mr. Song Wei also ceased serving as company president effective November 29, 2025.

The board proposed appointing: Mr. Gu Xin as non-executive director and member of both Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee and Audit Committee; Mr. Chen Geng as executive director and member of Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee, Remuneration Committee, and Nomination Committee; Ms. Zhu Yan as executive director and Strategy Committee member. All terms will run from shareholders' approval until the end of the fifth board term.

At the November 29, 2025 board meeting, Mr. Chen Geng was appointed president, with his term effective from November 29, 2025 through the fifth board's tenure expiration.
