Hong Kong stocks dropped in morning trading. HSI fell 1.1%, while HSTECH fell 1.3%.

Baidu fell 5%; Xiaomi fell 4%; XPeng fell 3%; BYD, NIO, Meituan, and JD.com fell 2%; Z.AI and NetEase fell 1%; Tencent fell 0.8%; Alibaba fell 0.7%.
