On September 18, the Lianchi District General Trade Union, in collaboration with the Lianchi District Women's Federation, organized a thematic training session on cybersecurity and personal information protection at the Lianchi Entrepreneurship Park. More than 70 union chairpersons from various townships, street offices, and directly affiliated government agencies participated in the event.
Centered on the theme "Anti-Fraud Guardians Are By Your Side, Creating a Fraud-Free Homeland Together," the training closely addressed the current cybersecurity landscape, emerging risks, and new challenges. It delivered systematic lectures focusing on key areas such as daily office operations, internet usage, privacy protection, and information confidentiality.
Drawing on real cases of typical cyber fraud, data breaches, and improper internet usage in recent years, the instructors provided an in-depth analysis of cybersecurity risks, channels of personal information leakage, and their potential hazards. They highlighted practical protective measures, including the secure management of online account passwords, safeguarding sensitive data and employee information, and identifying suspicious links and fraudulent messages. Participants were guided to abandon any mindset of relying on luck and to remain vigilant about cybersecurity at all times, ensuring they can recognize risks, understand protections, and effectively respond to incidents.
The attendees engaged in thoughtful consideration and in-depth exchanges, further recognizing the importance and urgency of cybersecurity efforts. The training comprehensively enhanced their awareness of cyber threats and their capabilities for self-protection.
Looking ahead, the Lianchi District General Trade Union plans to continue organizing specialized publicity and educational activities on cybersecurity. It will diversify promotional formats, expand the reach of coverage, and guide workers and the broader public to actively participate in building a secure and stable cyberspace, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the entire district.
