Xiaomi Group founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun discussed colored carbon fiber materials during a live broadcast on February 10. He showcased the material and described it as an advanced manufacturing technique. Lei noted that while many female car owners have expressed a preference against the sporty appearance of traditional carbon fiber, they find colored carbon fiber visually sophisticated. However, he indicated that integrating colored carbon fiber into mass-produced vehicles will still require additional time.
