Geekplus Repurchases 1.40 Million WVR Shares, Lifting Treasury Stock to 50.13 Million

Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (branded as GEEKPLUS-W on HKEX) disclosed a Next Day Disclosure Return indicating the on-market repurchase of 1.40 million Class B WVR ordinary shares on 24 September 2026.

The shares were bought back within a price range of HK$7.49–HK$7.72, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HK$7.58 per share and an aggregate consideration of HK$10.61 million.

The transaction represents 0.144% of Geekplus’s outstanding share capital (excluding treasury shares) prior to the repurchase. Post-buyback, the company’s issued share count decreased to 974.02 million shares, while treasury shares rose to 50.13 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.02 billion.

The repurchase was executed under the authority granted by shareholders on 26 May 2026, which permits the company to buy back up to 102.42 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 50.13 million shares, equivalent to 4.90% of the issued shares on the mandate date.

All repurchased shares are being held as treasury shares, and Geekplus is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share disposals until 24 October 2026. The board affirmed that the transaction complied with all applicable Hong Kong Listing Rules and regulatory requirements.
