Shanghai Jiucheng Law Firm's securities claim lawyer Xu Feng noted that the investor compensation case against ST Xinhua Jin (600735) for misrepresentation is still progressing. Investors who suffered losses are advised to monitor developments.
Some claims filed by Xu Feng on behalf of investors have already been submitted to the court for case acceptance and are awaiting further arrangements. Meanwhile, additional cases are being prepared for filing, and the firm continues to accept mandates from other affected investors.
On August 27, 2025, ST Xinhua Jin announced receiving a corrective order from the Qingdao Securities Regulatory Bureau regarding non-operational fund occupation by its controlling shareholder. As of the disclosure date of its 2025 interim report, Shandong Xinhua Jin International Co., Ltd. and related parties had improperly used company funds totaling 406 million yuan. The investigation confirmed that Zhang Jianhua, the actual controller, directed Xinhua Jin Group to occupy the funds non-operationally.
According to the company’s 2025 interim report, the fund occupation violated Articles 2, 3, and 5(2) of the "Guidelines for Listed Company Supervision No. 8—Regulatory Requirements on Fund Transactions and External Guarantees" (CSRC Announcement [2022] No. 26).
Xu Feng, a lawyer specializing in securities claims, stated that investors who purchased ST Xinhua Jin shares between May 8, 2025, and August 27, 2025, and sold or held them after August 27 may still file claims.
