Meitu's RoboNeo Launches New Version, Focusing on Helping Short-Drama Creators Build IP

Meitu's AI image creation platform RoboNeo has released a new version, focusing on helping short-drama creators build IP, with a brand-new IP creation entry point, a professional script workstation, and multi-faceted creation workflow capabilities tailored to the IP vertical.

According to the company, Meitu (HK: 01357) has rolled out a series of features around IP creation through RoboNeo, meaning the focus of AI short-drama creation is extending from "completing a work" to "continuously operating an IP." These features provide more possibilities for sustained IP creation across three dimensions: character creation, story expansion, and content derivation.

A person in charge at RoboNeo said that a vibrant IP should not be defined by a single work, and expressed the hope that AI can help creators complete their works while also consolidating characters and settings, so that an IP can continuously generate new stories and expressions.
