At the inaugural Global Intelligent Machinery and Electronics Expo (AIE), TCL Technology Group Corporation COO Wang Cheng highlighted the company's transformation into a global advanced manufacturing leader after 44 years of development. TCL is driving the electronics and information industry forward through cutting-edge technological breakthroughs, AI-enabled industrial applications, and the establishment of ecosystem alliances and full-industry-chain clusters. Over the past six years, TCL has invested over 60 billion yuan in R&D and filed more than 110,000 patents, spanning strategic technologies, materials, equipment, and device processes.
Wang Cheng introduced TCL's "AI Empowers Real Economy" strategy, which integrates AI deeply into industrial processes to enhance resilience and dynamism. In manufacturing, AI is reshaping traditional production models to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and upgrade quality. In R&D, innovations like "AI + Simulation" and the "Star Intelligence Model" reduce costs and accelerate technological breakthroughs. For operations, intelligent agents are embedded across workflows to enable full-chain smart upgrades.
To secure leadership in next-generation display technology, TCL has launched its first high-generation printed OLED production line—the TCL CSOT t8 project—with a phase-one investment of 29.5 billion yuan.
During the expo, TCL showcased a range of smart consumer products and advanced technologies, including its SQD-Mini LED TV, Bluewing Fresh Air Conditioner, Pudding Ice-Making Refrigerator, Big Eye Ultra Washer-Dryer, and RayNeo AR/AI Glasses.
