A new neighborhood center named Jiuwuli, integrating daily conveniences, dining options, and leisure activities, has reached a key milestone in its development in Gaozhao Subdistrict, Xiuzhou District. Several essential services and brands have already signed leases, including a fresh food market, Starbucks, Luckin Coffee, Guming Tea, Haoxianglai, Deyiju, and others. Leisure facilities such as a karaoke lounge, foot spa, billiards hall, internet cafe, and gym have also confirmed their participation. The project has achieved a 70% leasing rate and is scheduled to open fully in October this year, aiming to create a walkable, all-in-one lifestyle hub where convenience and community warmth coexist, according to Zhang Jimin, the head of the operating company Jiaxing Jiuwu Commercial Management.
Jiuwuli is developed by Jiaxing High-tech Group and managed by Jiaxing Jiuwu Commercial Management. It represents a key urban commercial support project aligned with Xiuzhou District’s “Westward Expansion” strategy. Since leasing began in March 2026, the project has attracted strong interest from brands and business operators across Jiaxing and the Yangtze River Delta region, thanks to its precise market positioning and well-rounded tenant mix. It has quickly become a standout addition to Xiuzhou’s western commercial landscape.
Regarding the origin of the name “Jiuwuli,” Zhang Jimin explained that the area around Gaojiaqiao is home to many industrial workers who typically work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The name reflects the center’s goal of serving this core demographic by providing a convenient destination for after-work and daily needs.
Local residents have long awaited such a facility. Ma Jianwei, Party Secretary and Director of Gaojiaqiao Village, expressed excitement about the project’s arrival. He noted that the surrounding neighborhoods—including Gaoqiao Huayuan, Hongwen Huayuan, Jinggang Huayuan, as well as Doumen Huayuan and Huoju Huayuan in Xincheng Town—are home to over 10,000 households. Previously, residents lacked adequate commercial amenities, forcing them to travel to downtown Jiaxing or Xincheng Town for groceries, dining, or entertainment.
Jiuwuli directly addresses these everyday needs, offering everything from a fresh market and food and beverage options to telecommunications services and leisure activities. In Ma’s view, the center is more than just a commercial space—it is a community-focused service station that enables residents to shop, dine, and relax close to home, fulfilling a wide range of daily requirements under one roof.
Construction and leasing continue to progress as planned. The operator is actively engaging with remaining prospective brands to ensure each tenant aligns with residents' actual needs. From daily necessities to lifestyle enhancements, Jiuwuli’s diverse tenant mix outlines a new standard of living for western Xiuzhou.
Interior finishing and facility installation are also underway, with construction teams working efficiently to meet the October opening deadline. As a crucial part of Gaozhao Subdistrict’s commercial infrastructure, Jiuwuli fills a gap in high-quality community retail in western Xiuzhou, establishing a multi-tiered service system that combines daily conveniences, quality consumption, and leisure experiences.
When Jiuwuli opens in October, it will not only become a new landmark for community commerce but also bring the benefits of urban development directly to local residents. This long-awaited neighborhood center will enhance daily life with its accessible, comprehensive offerings, injecting vitality into Xiuzhou’s city-building efforts and painting a brighter, more convenient future for the community.
