CHINA SOUTH AIR (01055) announced that in October 2025, the group's passenger capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), rose by 7.53% year-on-year. Domestic, regional, and international routes saw increases of 4.94%, 8.54%, and 15.29%, respectively. Passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), grew by 8.83% YoY, with domestic, regional, and international routes up 6.78%, 8.48%, and 15.21%, respectively. The passenger load factor reached 87.89%, a 1.05 percentage point increase YoY, driven by a 1.54 percentage point rise in domestic routes, while regional and international routes saw slight declines of 0.05 and 0.06 percentage points.
On the cargo front, freight capacity, measured in available cargo ton kilometers (ACTK), increased by 6.75% YoY in October 2025. Cargo traffic, measured in revenue cargo ton kilometers (RCTK), rose by 8.06% YoY, with the cargo load factor improving by 0.64 percentage points to 52.48%.
The group did not add any major routes in October 2025. It introduced four new aircraft, including two A320NEOs, one B737-8, and one C919, while retiring one A319. As of the end of October 2025, CHINA SOUTH AIR operated a total fleet of 959 transport aircraft.
