Wang Mingchao Receives Approval to Assume Role of Vice President at CPIC

On July 10th, financial authorities granted approval for a new executive appointment at a major insurance group.

The National Financial Regulatory Administration has issued an official approval, confirming Wang Mingchao's qualification to serve as a Vice President of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (CPIC).

Public records indicate that Wang Mingchao was born in October 1976 and holds a postgraduate degree, a master's degree, and is a certified senior human resources manager. His career history includes serving as head of the Party Affairs Department/Organization and Cadre Department at CPIC Life, Deputy General Manager and Senior Deputy General Manager of CPIC Life's Shanghai Branch, General Manager of the Cooperative Business Department at CPIC Anlian Health Insurance, General Manager of the Shanghai Business Department, Sales Director, Head of the Life Insurance Individual Cooperative Business Center, General Manager of the Shanghai Branch, and Chairman of the Labor Union. He has also held the positions of Board Secretary at CPIC Property & Casualty and Director at Pacific Health Insurance.

On June 5, 2025, Wang Mingchao's qualification to serve as Assistant to the General Manager of CPIC was approved by the National Financial Regulatory Administration. Concurrently, he was appointed as head of the company's Party Committee Organization Department and Human Resources Director.
