Four sleek, modern buildings have just been completed in Xiji Town, Tongzhou District, enclosing a hub for scientific innovation. On August 4, the Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU) Beijing Research Institute project, a key project of the National Network Security Industry Park (Tongzhou Park) and one of Beijing's "3 100" key initiatives, was officially transferred.
As the first project to land as part of the co-construction of the National Network Security Industry Park by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Beijing municipal government, the NWPU Beijing Research Institute carries a special mission for the era. The university has produced many national "firsts" and has been deeply involved in major national projects.
In the future, this institute is expected to establish platforms such as a network space security science and technology innovation platform, a high-end talent workstation, a network security talent cultivation base, and a center for transforming scientific and technological achievements. It will attract a large number of researchers to focus on cutting-edge network security technology, incubate high-tech enterprises, and facilitate the landing and application of scientific research results.
In January of this year, the project passed multiple inspections at once, successfully completed its filing for completion, and was officially transferred to the construction unit in July, with all construction milestones completed ahead of the original schedule. This modern science and technology research institute will help the high-end industries of the sub-center thrive, allowing more scientific research and innovation dreams to take root along the banks of the Grand Canal.
