Sigenergy Completes Chinese Name Change; Stock Code and Share Certificates Unchanged

Bulletin Express09-29 19:24

Sigenergy Technology Co., Ltd. announced the completion of its official corporate name change in mainland China and Hong Kong, finalising all registration procedures without affecting its English name, stock code, or stock short name.

The company received a new business licence from the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation on 27 Aug 2026, changing its Chinese name from “思格新能源(上海)股份有限公司” to “思格新能源股份有限公司”. On 25 Sep 2026, the Hong Kong Registrar of Companies issued the Certificate of Registration of Alteration of Name of Registered Non-Hong Kong Company, reflecting the same Chinese name change. The English name remains “Sigenergy Technology Co., Ltd.”.

Key implications: 1. Trading identifiers unchanged – the company continues to trade on the Stock Exchange under stock code 06656 and the short name “SIGENERGY”. 2. No shareholder impact – existing share certificates bearing the former Chinese name remain valid for trading, settlement, registration, and delivery. Certificates for any new share issuance will carry the updated Chinese name. No free exchange of old certificates is planned. 3. Business operations and financial position – the company states the name change has no effect on day-to-day operations, shareholder rights, or financial standing.

Sigenergy’s board is chaired by Mr. Xu Yingtong, who also serves as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer.
