Xiaomi (01810) Announces Changes in Issued Shares and Ongoing Share Repurchases

On 03 February 2026, Xiaomi Corporation disclosed several changes in its Class B shares. The opening balance on 02 February 2026 stood at 21,539,047,934 Class B shares. Subsequently, the company issued 9,500 new shares at HKD 2.69 and allotted 41,351,464 and 52,299,674 new shares (both at HKD 0) under share schemes. These issuances increased the Class B closing balance to 21,632,708,572 shares as of 03 February 2026.

In addition, multiple repurchases of Class B shares intended for cancellation took place from 20 November 2025 through 03 February 2026, with repurchase prices ranging roughly from HKD 34.78 to HKD 42.50. The aggregated repurchases over this period account for approximately 196.25 million shares that are not yet cancelled. Notably, on 03 February 2026 alone, Xiaomi Corporation repurchased 3,000,000 Class B shares on the Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 34.62 and HKD 34.92, for a total consideration of HKD 104,334,016.

According to the announcement, the total number of issued shares (combining Class A and Class B) as of 02 February 2026 was 26,050,601,078, comprising 4,511,553,144 Class A shares and 21,539,047,934 Class B shares. The company confirmed that all share issuances and repurchases complied with relevant regulations and disclosure requirements.
