BUTONG GROUP (the “Company,” together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) announced a voluntary update indicating that the Company will be included as a constituent of the Hang Seng Index Series, including the Hang Seng Composite Index and Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong Index. According to the quarterly review results published by Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited on February 13, 2026, these changes will take effect on March 9, 2026.
The Hang Seng Composite Index covers the top 95% of listed companies by cumulative market capitalization on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Following the inclusion, the Company’s shares will also become eligible for trading via the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect. In addition, the quarterly review results indicate the selection of the Company for Hang Seng Composite Industry Index – Consumer Discretionary, Hang Seng Composite MidCap & SmallCap Index, Hang Seng Composite SmallCap Index, Hang Seng Small Cap (Investable) Index, Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong MidCap & SmallCap Index, Hang Seng Stock Connect Hong Kong SmallCap Index, Hang Seng SCHK Consumer Discretionary Index, Hang Seng SCHK Consumer Discretionary (Investable) Index, Hang Seng SCHK Consumption (Investable) Index, and Hang Seng SCHK Mainland China Companies Index.
The Board of Directors believes that inclusion in these indices signifies recognition of the Company’s sustained value and potential, expects that it will further enhance stock liquidity, and foresees potential benefits in broadening its investor base.
