Major Shareholder of Central China MT to Divest Over 600 Million Shares

Central China MT (09982) has announced that on June 22, 2026, its major shareholder, Joy Bright Investments Limited (Joy Bright), which is wholly owned by the company's Chairman and Non-executive Director Mr. Hu Baosen, entered into agreements as the seller.

An agreement was made with Mr. Wang Rui as buyer, under which Joy Bright has agreed to sell, and Mr. Wang has agreed to purchase, 414 million ordinary shares of the company for HK$33.1257 million.

A separate agreement was made with Mr. Liu Genyu as buyer, under which Joy Bright has agreed to sell, and Mr. Liu has agreed to purchase, 189 million shares for HK$15.1532 million.

Prior to the execution of these agreements with Mr. Wang and Mr. Liu, and as of the announcement date, Joy Bright held 778 million shares in the company.
