A man attempting to board a high-speed train at Pingdingshan West Station in Henan Province on January 29 was stopped during a security check when his suitcase appeared entirely black on the scanner, indicating dense metallic content, prompting an immediate alert to the police.

Upon inspection by officers at the scene, the man explained that he worked in the gold jewelry supply industry and that his suitcase was filled with gold ornaments, including bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, with a total estimated value of approximately 4 million yuan, as he was traveling to Xiangyang, Hubei Province.

After verifying the man's credentials and confirming his story, the police, recognizing the high value of the items, contacted the train's security personnel to arrange for special attention and a safe escort to his destination, ensuring the security of the valuable consignment throughout the journey.
