PSBC's Guangxi Branch Fined 777,500 Yuan for Compliance Failures

On April 30, the Chongzuo City branch of Postal Savings Bank of China in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was penalized with a warning and a fine of 777,500 yuan. According to an administrative penalty disclosure by the People's Bank of China Chongzuo City branch, the branch was penalized for failures including not conducting due diligence as required, violating network security management regulations, failing to perform customer due investigation properly, and not reporting suspicious transactions as stipulated.

Concurrently, Li Mouning, then general manager of the personal finance department at the same branch, was held accountable for the bank's related violations involving inadequate due diligence. He received a warning and was fined 53,700 yuan.
