Hong Kong Exchange Announces New Appointments to Its Listing and Listing Review Committees

The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has announced the appointment of new members to its Listing Committee and Listing Review Committee, effective immediately. The committees will continue to provide expert advice on listing-related matters to support the robust development of Hong Kong's capital markets.

This year's Listing Nominations Committee comprises three HKEX non-executive directors (Chairman Carlson Tong, Directors Nicholas Allen, and Pauline Kwan), as well as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and an Executive Director of the Securities and Futures Commission (Chairman Tim Lui, CEO Julia Leung, and Executive Director Christina Choi).

New Appointments to the Listing Committee

Eight new members have been appointed to the Listing Committee: Andrew Shi, Lau Fu-keung, Chan Kit, Wang Ting, Choi Chung-fai, Patsy Birt, Leung Sze-kit, and Lau Hak-sing. Members Fong Hiu-ming, Yip King-wah, Daniel Lee, Lau Kwok-yin, Chak Po, Kwok Yin-shun, Terence Keyes, and Chu Man-man have stepped down from the committee. The Exchange expressed its gratitude to the outgoing members for their service.

Wong Ka-sing will continue to serve as Chairman of the Listing Committee, with Lee Pui-hang continuing as Deputy Chairman. Cheng Kin-lung and Chow Kai-yan have been appointed as Deputy Chairmen. The full list of Listing Committee members for 2026 is now available.

Changes to the Listing Review Committee

Eight new members have also been appointed to the Listing Review Committee: Matthew Emsley, Lai Chi-shing, Lau Chi-keung, Chow Kwok-min, Lung Chun-kwok, Chan Kok-chung, Yuen Oi-ying, and Lo Yin. Members Hong On-tat, Leung Heong-ying, Lam Chor-lai, Yeung Yat-chi, Chow Yi-ching, Mark Schwille, Patsy Birt, Lau Kwok-sing, and Leung Sze-kit have stepped down from the committee. The Exchange thanked the outgoing members for their service.

Lau Pak-wai, Andrew Weir, and Yu Ka-po will continue to serve as members of the Listing Review Committee's Chairman's Panel. Matthew Emsley has been appointed as a new member of the Chairman's Panel. The full list of Listing Review Committee members for 2026 is now available.
