Recently, a reporter visited the start-up area of Xiongan New Area to experience an unmanned sightseeing bus and a "Luobo Kuaipao" autonomous taxi.
The L4-level autonomous sightseeing bus, themed around "city sightseeing," links the central enterprise headquarters area, the internet industrial park, the relocated supporting schools, and residential communities, offering a 40-minute tour of the start-up area's construction landscape and everyday life. "Luobo Kuaipao," meanwhile, provides point-to-point reservation service — from hailing the car and boarding to getting off, no human involvement is needed at any stage.
The soon-to-be-operational Beijing-Xiongan Express Line train is equipped with GoA4-level fully autonomous driving technology, making it China's first fully autonomous intercity train with a speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
Xiongan is embedding autonomous driving into travel modes of different speeds and different scenarios.
