Is this another feel good article, setting up the trap to snarl anyone within listening distance? Based on the smaller boutique fund houses (that are more sincere and 'hones' - in my humble opinion) reviews, there ar more downside than upside in the immediate future. So rather than dollar cost average into a falling price stock, why dun just hold onto the cash for a while longer.  Truth be told there are 2 freaking more interest hikes by the Fed, beginning with one on 02 Nov; that is exactly 2 working weeks and 3 days to go. Why risk buying now when you may get more shares for the same outlay of monies if the shares continue to fall in price (not value right). There is afterall a saying "Good things Come To Those Who Wait". So maybe Save Up for these 2 weeks and get ready to buy

      Worried about 02 Nov...

I think the author is a little too pessimistic. The situation is improving now, and in my opinion, this is a good opportunity to buy on the dip.

I also agree with the author. At present, the general trend of the stock market is still declining, and there is no bottom line to be seen.

Thank you for the author's advice. In the current situation, it is necessary to be patient
