At midday on October 15, reports circulated online claiming that "Hong Kong's Ta Kung Pao reported Mr. Li Ka-shing has passed away at the age of 98," accompanied by related screenshots.

In response to the rumor, CKH HOLDINGS (00001) officially told Sina Finance, "Absolutely untrue."

According to the official website of CK Hutchison Holdings, Li Ka-shing has served as Senior Advisor of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited and CK Hutchison Group Telecom Holdings Limited since May 10, 2018. Prior to that, Li Ka-shing held the position of Chairman, leading the CK Group's steady development over the past 46 years.
