The latest data from Sina Finance's "Liquor Price Report" shows that the average retail prices of China's top 10 premium baijiu products showed minor fluctuations on Wednesday, with an overall slight upward trend. If bundled together, the total price for one bottle each of these top 10 products reached 9,198 yuan today, marking a 1 yuan increase from yesterday and hitting the highest level in the past week, indicating market consolidation after recent rebounds.
The daily pricing data is collected from approximately 200 monitoring points nationwide, including authorized distributors, independent retailers, major e-commerce platforms, and physical stores. All prices reflect actual transaction values from the past 24 hours, ensuring objective, traceable market insights.
Today's price movements showed significant divergence among brands. Gujinggong's Gu 20 rebounded sharply by 11 yuan/bottle, while Qinghualang rose 10 yuan/bottle for its fourth consecutive gain. Yanghe's Dream Blue M6+ increased 7 yuan/bottle, and Crystal Sword Nanchun rose 6 yuan/bottle for its third straight advance. Qinghua Fen 20 edged up 2 yuan/bottle. On the downside, Wuliangye's Eighth-Generation Premium and Xijiao Junpin both dropped 10 yuan/bottle. Luzhou Laojiao 1573 declined 9 yuan/bottle, while Feitian Moutai and Premium Moutai both dipped 3 yuan/bottle.
In industry news, Shanxi Fenjiu's Chairman Yuan Qingmao stated at the 2025 Global Distributors Conference that baijiu consumption is transitioning from traditional government/business-driven models toward a dual focus on "social gifting" and "personal enjoyment." He emphasized that while baijiu's social currency function remains important, the rise of personal consumption requires industry adaptation. Fenjiu's 2026 strategy will balance traditional nationwide expansion with new initiatives targeting younger consumers and international markets as secondary growth drivers.
