On May 12th, it was learned from the Hohhot Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology that recently, four departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued a notice, announcing the list of typical metaverse cases for 2025. The selected cases cover diverse scenarios such as digital humans, AR smart hardware, and industrial metaverse, characterized by leading technology, mature application, and prominent demonstration effects. A case from Hohhot City has been selected.
It is reported that the metaverse is an immersive interconnected space where the digital and physical worlds integrate and interact. It represents a future industry for the integrated innovation and application of new-generation information technologies and is an advanced form of the integration of the digital economy and the real economy. It is expected to guide the development of the next-generation internet through the mutual promotion of virtual and real elements, accelerate the high-end, intelligent, and green upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and support the construction of a modern industrial system.
The selected case, "Community Hundred Questions Digital Human" by Inner Mongolia Microgram Network Technology Co., Ltd., focuses on grassroots governance and convenient public services. Utilizing AI digital human technology, it provides services such as intelligent Q&A, policy interpretation, and business guidance, serving as a typical demonstration of the metaverse empowering people's livelihoods.
The notice requires that all regions, based on their local conditions, increase support for the selected cases in areas such as technological innovation, application implementation, and government services to promote the large-scale application of outstanding achievements.
