A key Middle Eastern trading hub in the UAE has completely suspended its oil loading operations following a drone strike and subsequent fire on Saturday morning, according to informed sources.

In a statement, the Fujairah Media Office confirmed that a drone was intercepted in the area, and falling debris from the incident started a fire. The office reported no casualties but did not specify the exact location of the event.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), which exports crude oil from Fujairah port, and the port authorities have not yet responded to requests for comment.
