Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index Hits One-Month Low as BOJ Rate Hike Expectations Boost Yen

The yen strengthened against some G-10 currencies, erasing the dollar's earlier gains. The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index fell 0.1%, extending its decline for a third consecutive session and touching a one-month low. USD/JPY dropped 0.3% to 154.77, nearing its December 1 low of 154.67. Note: Key Japanese government officials reportedly will not obstruct the Bank of Japan from raising rates in December.
