Saic Motor Corporation Limited reported its May production and sales figures. In May, the company's total vehicle production was 334,600 units, representing a year-on-year decrease of 18.61%.
Total vehicle sales for the month reached 349,000 units, which reflects a 4.62% decline compared to the same period last year.
Within these totals, new energy vehicle production stood at 188,600 units, showing a significant year-on-year increase of 24.41%.
Sales of new energy vehicles were 182,500 units, marking a robust growth of 46.49% compared to the previous year.
