WEIGAO GROUP's Major Shareholder Boosts Stake with Additional H-Share Purchases

WEIGAO GROUP (01066) has announced that its board of directors received notification from the controlling shareholder, WEIGAO GROUP, regarding share purchases.

From June 8, 2026, to the date of this announcement, WEIGAO GROUP acquired approximately 15.60 million H-shares of the company on the open market using its own funds. This represents about 0.34% of the total issued H-shares and approximately 0.34% of the company's total issued share capital as of the announcement date.

Cumulatively, from May 13, 2026, to the announcement date, WEIGAO GROUP has purchased a total of approximately 30.55 million H-shares. This represents roughly 0.68% of the total issued H-shares and about 0.67% of the company's total issued share capital, with a total consideration of approximately HK$101 million.

Following these acquisitions, as of the announcement date, WEIGAO GROUP now holds a total of 2,130,308,076 H-shares in the company. This constitutes approximately 47.11% of the total issued H-shares and about 46.61% of the company's total issued share capital.

This series of share purchases demonstrates the controlling shareholder's strong confidence in the group's long-term development prospects and intrinsic value, as well as its full support for the group's sustained and stable growth.
