MODERN INNO DT reshapes board: Deputy Chairman Han Zhenghai steps down, veteran financier Lui Chun Pong joins as Executive Director

Modern Innovative Digital Technology Company Limited (MODERN INNO DT, 02322) announced a board overhaul effective 27 July 2026.

Mr. Han Zhenghai has resigned as Independent Non-executive Director, Deputy Chairman, and member of the Nomination, Audit and Remuneration Committees to focus on other business commitments. He confirmed no disagreement with the board and no matters requiring shareholder attention.

To fill the vacancy, the company appointed Mr. Lui Chun Pong, 57, as Executive Director. Mr. Lui holds degrees in arts, law, accountancy and business administration from institutions including the University of Hong Kong, Manchester Metropolitan University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. A fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, he brings over three decades of experience in finance, securities and property, having served in senior roles at several Hong Kong-listed companies. He currently sits on the boards of JY Gas Limited, Twintex Investment Holdings Limited and China Ocean Group Development Limited.

Mr. Lui will serve an initial three-year term, subject to retirement by rotation and re-election at the next annual general meeting, with a monthly director’s fee of HK$0.03 million, subject to review.

Post-changes, the board comprises Chairman and Non-executive Director Mr. Ma Weihua; Executive Directors Ms. Zheng Juhua, Ms. Cao Li, Mr. Lau Hoi Kit and Mr. Lui Chun Pong; and Independent Non-executive Directors Mr. Chi Chi Hung, Kenneth, Mr. Chen Chao and Mr. Law Hok Yu.
