On June 11th, Alibaba (BABA.US) announced the launch of the first AI football prediction assistant on its Qwen App, making it available to all users.
The AI football prediction assistant is trained on vast datasets. This includes not only historical statistics and player data from various nations, along with injury reports, but also incorporates geographical data for the US, Canada, and Mexico, as well as weather forecasts for match days.
Furthermore, the assistant features built-in skills for accessing football match information and subscribing to results, enabling it to deliver daily updates on the latest scores.
Alibaba is inviting users to compete against Qwen's prediction accuracy. Participants can contribute to donating football fields for rural schools alongside the AI and also stand a chance to win a cash prize of ten thousand yuan.
By participating in predictions for all 104 matches, forecasting over 80 games, and achieving a higher accuracy rate than Qwen, users become eligible for a lottery draw for the 10,000-yuan prize, with 100 such prizes available.
Even for those with lower prediction accuracy, participating in over 32 match forecasts allows entry into a separate lottery for 1,000 pairs of Qwen AI Glasses G1.
Alibaba stated that for all users participating in the AI prediction challenge, every time the total accumulated user points reach a specific threshold, Qwen will fund the donation or renovation of a football field for a school in a rural or under-resourced area, targeting at least 50 schools.
