Data from the Xining Municipal Bureau of Commerce shows that during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, 12 key commercial enterprises in Xining achieved sales of 69.2622 million yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 3.13%.
Eight major catering enterprises in the city generated an operating revenue of 2.1005 million yuan, representing a growth of 9.05% compared to the same period last year.
During the holiday, Xining integrated traditional Dragon Boat Festival customs with consumption trends related to the high school entrance exams. Major shopping malls and supermarkets launched themed promotional activities, leading to a sustained increase in offline consumer activity.
Various districts and counties in Xining also organized distinctive public-benefit activities concurrently, enriching consumption scenarios and stimulating consumer spending.
Simultaneously, the city implemented national and provincial-level policies supporting the replacement of old consumer goods with new ones, steadily advancing subsidy distribution to continuously tap market potential and activate demand for major purchases in both urban and rural areas.
Over the holiday period, Xining recorded a cumulative 159,800 applications for the replacement program, with approved subsidy funds totaling 1.77 billion yuan. Of this, 1.10 billion yuan has already been disbursed, stimulating consumption worth 21.67 billion yuan.
Specifically, there were 8,900 applications for vehicle replacements, with applied subsidies reaching 1.00 billion yuan. A total of 330 million yuan in subsidies has been paid out, driving consumption of 15.93 billion yuan.
For home appliances and digital products, 150,900 applications were submitted. Businesses verified and reimbursed subsidies amounting to 770 million yuan, which spurred consumption of 5.74 billion yuan.
In terms of the provincial share, Xining accounted for 63.66% of the total application volume, 76.08% of the total subsidy amount, and 79.77% of the total consumption stimulated by the program within the province, indicating stable operations in the automotive and home appliance sectors.
Furthermore, consumer momentum has been continuously activated through incentive measures like receipt lotteries. As of June 20th, 16,100 merchant locations in Xining participated in the receipt lottery activity, with public participation reaching 452,400人次.
Tax authorities verified 4.91 million valid invoices, corresponding to a consumption amount of 2.415 billion yuan and tax revenue of 228 million yuan. Cumulative prize payouts reached 103.07 million yuan, with the subsidy achieving a leverage ratio of 1 to 23.43 in stimulating consumption.
Robust demand for family gatherings and holiday banquets during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday significantly boosted foot traffic in the餐饮 sector.
Major餐饮 outlets introduced themed banquet packages for the festival, complemented by folk performances and interactive experiences. Full-service restaurants, ethnic cuisine, and popular snack foods within shopping malls were highly sought after.
Specialized餐饮 clusters such as Bao Street, Wusi Street food district, Daxing Street night market, and Xiananguan food street attracted both local residents and tourists with their authentic local flavors.
These areas not only showcased the distinctive local food culture but also effectively contributed to the steady growth in餐饮 revenue.
