Ant Group has quietly launched its first AI glasses product named "Willit," which is now available for sale on Taobao. The accompanying "Willit AI" app has also been released on app stores. The flagship store on Taobao shows the seller is Beijing Ant Zorro Technology Co., Ltd. Corporate records indicate this company is wholly owned by Beijing Lingzhou Technology Co., Ltd. The legal representative and manager is Zhao Wenbiao. Zhao Wenbiao is also linked to several other companies under Ant Group and is publicly known as a senior vice president of Ant Group and the CEO of Ant Digital Technology. Furthermore, the "Willit AI" app is listed on some app stores, with its developer, operator, and sponsor shown as Sasi Digital Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. This company is fully controlled by Ant Digital Future (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., whose legal representative is also Zhao Wenbiao. The entry-level model of the "Willit" AI glasses is priced at 899 yuan. It comes in two styles: sunglasses and photochromic lenses. The sunglasses model is shown to have sold over 1,000 units on the platform. The product detail page lists features including photo/video capture, calls/music, real-time translation, audio recording transcription, AI conversation, and image recognition through photos. Flagship functions include AI Q&A, a personal AI assistant, and third-party services. According to customer service, the product "does not have a payment function for now," a feature also absent from the detail page. A notable detail of the "image recognition" feature is its ability to display the calorie count of food, a function with significant appeal. The "Willit AI" app description highlights several functions, primarily for managing and interacting with the glasses via a phone: [Glasses Control] After pairing, users can adjust volume, update firmware, and perform other settings through the app; [Status Display] Shows remaining battery, connection status, permissions, and other key usage states; [Photo Transfer] Supports one-click import of photos taken with the glasses to the app for subsequent viewing or deletion; [AI Conversation] Allows users to view and manage their AI conversation history with the glasses; [Rich Applications] Continuously provides intelligent app experiences like transcription and translation across both devices. Priced under 1,000 yuan, the Willit AI glasses hold an advantage in terms of accessibility. The widespread adoption of AI hardware like glasses could change primary user interfaces. In the mobile internet era, smartphones were the central hub for interaction. In the AI era, "voice + vision + AI" may become the next mainstream mode of interaction. Although the Willit AI glasses currently lack a payment function, future models might include it. This would allow Ant Group to capture a new payment interface and gain initiative in the competitive landscape of AI-era payments.
