Shares of DIAGENS-B (ASX: 02526) have surged more than 11%. At the time of reporting, the stock was up 10.5% to HK$299, with a trading turnover of HK$11.89 million.
The price movement follows the company's announcement of a strategic cooperation framework agreement signed with the LEGENDHOLDING Advanced Technology Research Institute. The signing took place at a recent medical AI ecosystem innovation seminar and the global launch event for the iMedLoop™ medical imaging data platform.
This collaboration represents another practical case of the deep integration of digital technology with life sciences and healthcare. The debut of the iMedLoop™ platform at the event marks a critical step forward for DIAGENS-B in its comprehensive medical AI ecosystem strategy.
It is understood that the platform is built upon the company's self-developed iMedImage foundation model, a large-scale model for medical imaging. This foundational model boasts 104 billion parameters, supports multiple imaging modalities, covers 26 clinical specialties, and addresses approximately 90% of diagnostic imaging scenarios. It is reported to be one of China's largest and most broadly applicable medical imaging base models.
Leveraging this powerful base, the development of specialized application models can reportedly be completed in just 2 to 3 months with a dataset of around 200 cases, significantly accelerating the adaptation process for specific clinical needs.
