SINOTRUK (HKEX: 03808) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, showcasing robust growth across key financial metrics.
The company recorded total revenue of RMB 70.841 billion, a substantial increase of 39.24% year-on-year. Profit attributable to equity shareholders reached RMB 4.325 billion, up 26.22% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 1.58, with an interim dividend of RMB 1.02 per share declared.
The heavy-duty truck segment delivered total revenue of RMB 64.8 billion, representing a 44.5% surge. However, the segment's operating profit margin contracted by 1.5 percentage points to 7.6%, primarily due to exchange losses arising from foreign currency export sales and accounts receivable.
During the review period, the group sold 193,644 heavy-duty trucks, marking a 41.8% increase. Domestic heavy-duty truck sales reached 85,293 units, up 26.3% year-on-year. The company capitalized on the industry's green transformation momentum, adhering to its strategic "Number One Project" positioning and focusing on frontline market breakthroughs. Through systematic cost reduction and efficiency enhancement measures, the group achieved rapid gains in both sales volume and market share while effectively improving operational quality.
Notably, new energy heavy-duty truck sales surged 138.8% year-on-year, with market share climbing 3.9 percentage points to rank first in the industry for the first time. Within this segment, the company secured the top position in market share for new energy dump trucks above 540kwh, and achieved the highest market share growth for 4X2 new energy tractors.
The light truck and other segments generated total revenue of RMB 7.556 billion, up 4.2% year-on-year. The operating loss ratio for this segment improved to 0.4%, narrowing by 2.0 percentage points compared to the prior year period. The group sold 62,608 light trucks during the review period, maintaining a level consistent with the previous year.
