During the night trading session on May 6, crude oil futures dropped more than 3%, while palm oil futures declined 2%. Ethylene glycol, pure benzene, fuel oil, low-sulfur fuel oil, plastic, PTA, asphalt, methanol, polypropylene, and paraxylene all fell over 1%. On the upside, Shanghai tin and Shanghai silver rose more than 2%, with caustic soda and international copper gaining over 1%.
