UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880) Rises Over 4% in Early Trading on Strategic Partnership with Texas Instruments and Recent Large Orders

Stock News12-15

UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880) surged over 4% in early trading, reaching a 3.04% gain at press time to HK$118.6, with a turnover of HK$277 million. The uptick follows news of a strategic partnership with Texas Instruments (TXN). The U.S. semiconductor giant has purchased UBTECH's industrial humanoid robot, Walker S2, and is currently deploying and testing it on production lines. UBTECH plans to integrate more Texas Instruments components into its humanoid robots' core parts, with both parties exploring deeper collaboration in product development, technology, and real-world applications—particularly in semiconductor manufacturing using humanoid robots.

Notably, UBTECH has recently secured multiple high-value orders. On December 10, the company announced an AI large-model enterprise order exceeding RMB 50 million, featuring Walker S2—the world’s first self-charging industrial robot. The deal includes hardware supply and open底层接口 for deep integration of "AI models + robot hardware." Additionally, in November alone, UBTECH won a RMB 143 million project for a humanoid robot data collection and training center in Jiujiang, a RMB 264 million order for Guangxi border ports, and a RMB 159 million contract for a Zigong data collection center.
