PONY-W (02026) saw its stock rise nearly 6% in afternoon trading. As of the latest update, the share price increased by 4.99% to HKD 67.35, with a trading volume of HKD 37.3555 million. The uptick follows the company's announcement at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show that it expects the total vehicle cost for Robotaxis in the domestic market to drop below RMB 230,000 by 2027 as fleet scale expands. The company also plans to launch an overseas version based on this model, targeting deployment of over a thousand units in international markets. PONY-W stated that the cost of its L4 Robotaxi is already lower than the base model of Tesla's Model 3. Huatai Securities released a research note indicating that the company previously disclosed its seventh-generation Robotaxi achieved average daily net revenue per vehicle of RMB 338 in Shenzhen and RMB 299 in Guangzhou, with an average of 23 orders per day. If total vehicle costs further decrease below RMB 230,000 by 2027, depreciation pressure per vehicle is expected to continue declining. Estimates suggest PONY's self-operated Robotaxi daily cost per vehicle is approximately RMB 277.5, and based on Shenzhen's RMB 338 revenue data, the gross profit margin per vehicle could reach around 18%.
