Under the fuel price adjustment rules, the 21st round of refined oil price adjustment for 2026 is scheduled for 24:00 on October 29. This cycle began with an upward trend, and as international crude oil prices continued to strengthen, the estimated increase climbed steadily over multiple statistical days, expanding from an initial forecast of nearly 0.1 yuan per liter to the current level of around 0.2 yuan per liter. The probability of a price hike in this round has continued to rise, with a high likelihood of marking the 14th fuel price increase this year, bringing higher prices for 92-octane and 95-octane gasoline.
The cycle is now more than halfway through, and the estimated increase for gasoline and diesel is 245 yuan per ton and 235 yuan per ton respectively. Converted to retail prices, that means 92-octane gasoline will rise by 0.2 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline will rise by 0.21 yuan per liter, and 0-diesel will rise by 0.2 yuan per liter.
It should be noted that these are only cyclical forecast figures. If international oil prices continue to surge, the estimated increase could expand further. The final adjusted prices will be subject to the announcement by the National Development and Reform Commission.
