Biwin Storage Technology Inks $1.5 Billion Wafer Procurement Deal

Biwin Storage Technology Co.,Ltd. (688525.SH) has announced the signing of a routine operational procurement contract with a memory manufacturer. Under the agreement, the company will purchase a specific type of memory wafer from the supplier based on predetermined quantities, prices, and delivery schedules. The total committed procurement value of the contract is $1.5 billion, with a total commitment period of 24 months. The terms of the agreement also extend to subsidiaries controlled by both parties. According to the contract, the annual procurement volume of this product will account for 11.1% of the company's total NAND Flash procurement and 18.01% of its total NAND Flash sales in 2025, representing a relatively small proportion. By securing a portion of its essential supply needs for the next 24 months in advance, the company aligns the procurement with its business scale and strategic planning, keeping overall risks manageable.
