SSY GROUP (02005) has announced that its Safinamide Mesylate has received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration to be registered as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) for use in marketed drug formulations. This approval marks the first such authorization granted to a domestic pharmaceutical company in China. Safinamide Mesylate is primarily indicated for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and is used in combination with other Parkinson's medications such as Levodopa.
