ABC Vice President Lin Li Discusses Wealth Management Strategy

Deep News03-30

On March 30, Agricultural Bank Of China Limited held its 2025 performance briefing. Regarding wealth management operations, Vice President Lin Li stated that in recent years, ABC has firmly adhered to a people-centric value proposition, placing high importance on the development of its wealth management business. The bank has continuously deepened its retail "One Body, Two Wings" strategy, which has now been consistently implemented for five years. The "One Body" refers to customer development as the core, while the "Two Wings" represent major wealth management and digital transformation. ABC has proactively established a four-wheel drive system for wealth management to strengthen the moat of its revenue-generating businesses.

Lin Li further elaborated on four key drivers. First is adhering to value-driven principles and upholding the orientation of serving the public through finance. The essence of wealth management services is client-centric asset allocation. Therefore, ABC insists on a service philosophy of professional insight and value creation to implement comprehensive allocation strategies, with the goal of becoming a trusted family financial planner for its vast client base.

Second is persisting with reform-driven innovation. This involves building a full-spectrum product shelf, upgrading a fully open market platform, and deepening whole-cycle client companionship.

Third is maintaining an organization-driven approach to forge wealth management service capabilities. By ensuring professionals handle specialized tasks and specialized teams manage dedicated areas, ABC continuously enhances its two core competencies: investment research and client service.

Fourth is upholding digital-driven upgrades. The wealth management service engine primarily utilizes digital and intelligent means to form an integrated system combining branches with direct operations, and online with offline channels.
